Hi, I'm Kristin
I'm a natural dyer and educator whose work explores the connection between plants, textiles, and the places we live.
I teach natural dye workshops and retreats across the United States and online to students all over the world. My path into natural dyeing has been shaped by many generous teachers and mentors over the years, including Catharine Ellis, Joy Boutrup, and Yoshiko Wada.
Much of my work begins in the garden. I grow seasonal dye plants for experimentation and love sharing seeds and exchanging plant knowledge with my community.
